She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Gillis; her parents, William Gabriel and Margaret Gabriel; and her siblings, Fintan (Emma), Joan and Melvin (Eileen).
She is survived by: her children, David Gillis, Donald Gillis, Deborah Clarke (Sid) and Darren Gillis; her grandchildren, Robyn (Tyler), Robert, Liam and Ian; and her siblings, Mercer (Patricia) and Doreen (Teddy).
