He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; and his sisters, Maude McDonald (Jimmy), Jean Peddle and Pansy Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Mitchell; his pets, Charlie, Tiny, Polar, Toby and Hunter; his siblings, Tom Mitchell (Helen), Les Mitchell (Dona), Doris Hoven, Gwen Alcock (Roy) and Teddy Mitchell (Theresa); his brother-in-law Wesley Peddle; his nephew Ed Hoven; and his close friend Travis Saunders (Gid).
