We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2023, at the age of 83, Edna Gladys Penney of Baie Verte, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Aubrey Penney; her son David Penney; her parents, Edmund Hamlyn and Evelyn Hamlyn; her parents-in-law, William and Pearl Penney; and her siblings-in-law, Chesley Penney and Janet Penney.

She is survived by: her son Terry Penney (Denise); her grandchildren, Miranda, Angela, Camellia (Brandon) and Terry; her great grandchildren, TJ and Antonio; her sister Phyllis (Garfield); her siblings-in-law, Violet (Wayne) and Claude; her cousin Sandra (Roy, family: Kelly, Colleen); and her close friends, Diane Bryan and Elsie Prowse.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edna's memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, La Scie, NL.
