It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Mary Antle of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Antle; her son Gary Antle; her parents, Fred Reteiffe and Margaret Reteiffe; her siblings, Rita Rioux, Robert Reteiffe, Lucas Reteiffe and Bernard Reteiffe; her parents-in-law, Michael and Louise Antle; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Murray (Kevin), Violet Lewis (Gregory), John, Harold Downey and Summie Duffenais.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Antle (Colleen Lewis), Donna Rice (Kevin) and Mabel Dawe (Tony); her grandchildren, Shane Antle (Robin), Tyler Rice (Mercedez Rideout), Jonathan Payne (Brandi Haas Payne), Julian Rice (Lindsay Roth), Tara Antle (Shane Noble), Tyra Antle and Emily Dawe; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Rice, Avery Rice, William Rice, Lexie Payne and Preston Payne; her siblings, Eleanor Duffenais, Mabel Steever (John), Peggy O'Quinn (Danny), Marilyn Barry (Jim) and Clifton Reteiffe; and her siblings-in-law, Beatrice Downey, Edward "Ted" Antle (Patsy), Peggy Ford, Olivera Antle and Jenita Downey.
