It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David William Gillis of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gillis and Loretta Gillis; and his grandparents, John, Clare Gillis, William and Margaret Gabriel.
He is survived by: his son Liam; his siblings, Donald Gillis, Deborah Clarke (Sid) and Darren Gillis; his niece Robyn (Tyler); his nephews, Robert and Ian; and the mother of his child Krista Elliott. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
