With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Eilene Marie Gillingham of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, born in Nippers Harbour, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bowers and Grace Bowers; her husband Ewen Gillingham; her son Bobby; her parents-in-law, Stanley and Leah Gillingham; her siblings, James Bowers (Joan), Marion Bussey and Barbara Layte (Carl); her siblings-in-law, Hubert Gillingham, Leslie Gillingham, Gwen Lane (Frank), Viola Norman (Gus), Norma Bowers and Edna Bowers; her sons-in-law, Michael Gebler and Norman Kurtz; and her grandson Shane Kurtz.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Kurtz of Calgary, AB, Barbara Cathers (Ray) of Victoria, BC, Wayde Gillingham (Judy) of Pacquet, NL, Linda Norman (Bryce) of Pacquet, NL, Dean Gillingham (Beulah) of Tumbler Ridge, BC, Sharon Sacrey (Howard) of Pacquet, NL, Angela Sacrey (Danny) of Pacquet, NL and Robbie Gillingham (Joanne) of Pacquet, NL; her extended family Corrine Ward; her brother Howard Bowers (Joyce); her siblings-in-law, Harold Bussey (Melvie), Daphne Bowers, Evelyn Gillingham and Rita Gillingham; and her niece Joy Milley.
