It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amanda Elizabeth Jacobs of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Jacobs and Gerald Jacobs; and her brother-in-law Barry Ricketts. She is survived by: her siblings, Debbie Jacobs (Frazer) of Fort McMurray, AB, Cyril Jacobs (Mary) of Westport, NL, Ada Ricketts (Roger) of Peace River, AB, Chris Jacobs (Carolyn) of Westport, NL and Roy Jacobs (April) of Westport, NL; her niece Jenny Watson (Chad); her extended family Viola Gray; and her nieces and nephews, Alma Philpott (Sheldon), Jeffrey Jacobs (Rachel), Tyler Jacobs (Amy), Neil Jacobs, Bruce Jacobs (Candice), Chelsea Jacobs (Jamie), Jonathon (Krystine), Katie Jacobs (Heidi), Hayley Wells, Suzanne Ricketts (Benny) and Alexander Jacobs Rachel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (22 Main St, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter's Anglican Church.
