He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Winter and Nita Winter (Spurrell); his son Warwick Winter; and his siblings, Wilson Winter, Job Winter (Penny) of St. John's, Jack Winter, Sadie Winter and Laura Winter.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Winter (Spurrell); his sons, Samuel (Donna) of Badger's Quay and Barry (Judy) of Badger's Quay; his grandchildren, Christopher (Chris Mercer), Charlene (Dylan Best), Caroline (Jalen Hounsell) and Andrew (Marsha Wheeler); his great grandchildren, Jaxon Best, Peyton Best, Landon Mercer Winter, Levi Mercer Winter and Rosalie Hounsell; his siblings, Claude (Myrtle) of Badger's Quay, Clayton (Winnie) of Gander, Harvey (Eva) of Scarborough, ON., Bill (Stella) of Badger's Quay, Margaret (Absolom) of Port Hope, ON. and Bernice (Art) of Gander; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Winter of Bonnews Lodge and Joan Winter of Wareham.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to St. Alban's Anglican cemetery (old), Badger's Quay.
