He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Welcher and Ella Welcher; his siblings, Abe, Claude, Wilson, Samuel, Eric, Trixie, Laura and Evelyn; his parents-in-law, Marshall and Letsie Goodyear; and his siblings-in-law, Ruben, Colin, Daniel, Heber, Elsie, Betty, Annabelle, Hilda and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Charmaine; his siblings, Chesley, Solomon Sr. (Elsie) and Jemima Dooley (Ralph); his niece Debbie Bennett (Garfield); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Welcher, Beulah Welcher, Claudia Welcher, Irene Humphries, Pearl Wakely, Flossie Burton (Job), Irene Pond, Selby Roebotham, Bill Goodyear (Jeanette) and Norm Wakely. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
