It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert James Spurrell of Badgers Quay, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Spurrell and Vera Spurrell; his son Gregory; his grandson Nathan; his brothers, Joey and Donald; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Agnes Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Miller, Raymond Downton and Sylvia Spurrell (Thistle).

He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Darren (Diane) and Tracey (Jason); his brothers, Leo (Sandra) and Herman (Roxie); his siblings-in-law, Clarence (Nancy), Vera, Laura, Mary and Bernice (Joe Richards); his grandchildren, Gregory (Melissa), Darren (Hannah), Gracie and Lexi; and his great grandchild Claire.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions funeral service will take place at a later date.
