He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sr. Burry and Maggie Burry (King); his grandparents, Joseph, Harriett Burry, Martha and Israel King; his siblings, Israel George, Edith Saunders, Harriett Spurrell and Nelson Burry; his niece Tina Gates; his nephews, Wade Oram, Jimmy Saunders and Herbert Oram; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Saunders, Llewellyn Oram, Eric Spurrell, Herbert Oram, Horatio Maher, Seymour Gates and Blanche Burry.

He is survived by: his wife Ella; his children, Phillip Burry of Grand Prairie, AB., Craig Burry (Crystal) of Badger's Quay and Valerie Manuel (Craig) of Valleyfield; his grandchildren, Mitchell Manuel, Luke Burry, Danica Burry, Landon Burry and Hunter Burry; his great grandchild Theodore Manuel; and his siblings, Peter Burry Jr. (Rita) of Badger's Quay, Robert Burry (Gail) of Ontario, Gladys Maher of Wesleyville, Louisa Aubie (Dale) of Sudbury, ON., Rosalie Gates of Brookfield and Yvonne Howell of Badger's Quay.
