She was predeceased by: her father Perley Gilbert; her husband Maynard Allen; her stepfather Dennis Bright; her grandparents, Donald, Blanche Gilbert (Hanson), Clarence and Mary Webb (Poulin); her brothers, Richard, Daniel and Barry Gilbert; her niece Loretta Brewer; her siblings-in-law, Allan Brewer and Dianne Gilbert (Wyrwas); and her close friends, Priscilla, Wanda, Thelma, Sandra, Jo-Ann Brewer and Debbie Crouse.

She is survived by: her mother Lorraine Gilbert Bright; her son Justin; her grandchildren, Essence, Maddox, Cadence and Jenna van Exan; her siblings, Carole Brewer and Bev Gilbert; her sister-in-law Pam Gilbert; her friend Andrew Reynolds; her aunts and uncles, Pat, Marg Graham, Buddie, Eva Morehouse and Evangeline Walton; her close friends, Norman Brewer and Dixie Bishop; and her pet Jazz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
