It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Mary Gilbert-Bright of Zealand, New Brunswick, born in Lower Hainesville, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Webb and Mary Webb (Poulin); her sons, Barry, Richard and Daniel Gilbert; her granddaughter Loretta Brewer; her husband Dennie Bright; the father of her children Perley Gilbert; her son-in-law Maynard Allen; her siblings, Richard Webb Patrick (late Florence), Paul Webb (late Jean), Kathleen Newman (late Henry) and Anita; and her brothers-in-law, Irvine Gilbert (late Vivian) and Vernon Gilbert.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Allen, Carole Brewer (Allan) and Bev Gilbert; her foster daughter Sheri-Ann Vezina; her daughters-in-law, Pam Gilbert and Dianne Gilbert; her grandchildren, Justin (Katrina), Neville (Sonia), Robbie (Janna), Trevor (Kim), TJ (Victoria), BJ (Nancy), David (Shannon), Lily (Luke), Leanna, Kristi and Scott; her sisters, Eva Morehouse (Buddie) and Evangeline Walton (Wesley); her siblings-in-law, Pauline Stephenson, Marguerite Graham (Pat) and Rudolph Gilbert (Florence); and her friend Vivian Foster. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Family and friends attended visiting hours at the Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 6 to 9 p. m. A funeral service (by invitation only due to Covid-19) was held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 with Rev. Scott Lewis officiating.
