He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Brewer and Janet Brewer; his wife Gloria Brewer; his sister Connie Palmer; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Estey and Stenton Brewer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gerald Brewer of Winnipeg, MB, Richard Brewer of Stone Ridge, NB, Randy Brewer (Elizabeth) of Stone Ridge, NB, Allen Brewer (Violet) of Dorn Ridge, NB, Sheila Estey of Fredericton, NB, Norma Brewer of Stone Ridge, NB and Carmalena Taillon (John) of Fredericton, NB; his brother-in-law George Palmer; and his niece Tara Best. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
