She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Peterson and Alfreda Peterson; her husband Dean Scott; her siblings, Shirley Knowles (Clarence), Lloyd Peterson (Janette) and Carl Peterson; and her brothers-in-law, John Beal and Ranald McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Stuart Scott of Woodstock, NB and Sondra Scott of Woodstock, NB; her siblings, Vernon Peterson (Phyllis) of St Thomas, ON, Naida Beal of Londonberry, NH, Gary Peterson of St Thomas, ON, Malcolm Peterson (Sharon) of Salmon Arm, BC, Mavis McCarty of Hartland, NB and Barbara Appleby (Jim) of Hartland, NB; and her sister-in-law Donna Peterson of Hartland, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
