He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Ivy McKay of Woodstock, NB and Linda Gerhardt of Kingston, ON.. He is survived by: his parents, Christopher McKay of Dieppe, NB and Trina Benyi (Gerhardt) of Havelock; his stepfather William Benyi of Havelock, NC; his sisters, Elizabeth Gerhardt of Halifax, NS, Niamh McKay of Woodstock, NB and Ava Benyi of Havelock, NC; his uncle Ian Gerhardt of Kingston, ON.; and his grandfathers, Justus McKay of Woodstock, NB and Frank Gerhardt.
For those who would like to commemorate Shea's life, the family would ask that donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association in his memory.
