He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Polchies and Marie Polchies; and his siblings, Ronald Polchies, Theodore Polchies, Annette Poole and Anne Marie Nicholas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Emmanuel Polchies (Cindy), Mancil Polchies, Dean Polchies (Tracey), Barbara Oviatt (Bob), Lizz Meloney (Bruce), Linda Polchies (Sally) and Valerie Chisholm; his grandchild Keara McCoy (Ernie McKay); his great grandchildren, Lotus, Abel, Wolan, Lennox and Marki; and his aunt Faye Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
