It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard Hugh Francis MacInnis (Woodstock, New Brunswick), born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laughlin MacInnis and Effie MacInnis (Campbell); his former wife Annette (Poirier); his brother-in-law Earle Jr. Hunter; and also, Marion and Earle Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Hunter); his grandchildren, Emilee, Eve and Ella; his siblings, Duncan (Mary Macquarrie), Martha Elaine (Gerry Cormier), Bernice and Mary Noella (Andrew Pateman); his siblings-in-law, Winnifred Bell (Sammy) and James Hunter; and his aunt Anna Campbell (Joe D.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral and burial will be held. A gathering with extended family and friends will take place once Covid restrictions are eased.
