He was predeceased by: his parent John McLaughlin. He is survived by: his parent Rena McLaughlin (Sewell); his children, Emma and Turner; and his sisters, Aldean McElhinney, Edith O'Donnell and Wanda Demerchant. He is also survived by several Nieces Nephews and Cousins.

In recognition of Al's great love for Newburg, as expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pembroke Community Hall.
