He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph J. McFarlane and Elizabeth Theresa McFarlane (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean (Stewart); his sons, Ian McFarlane (Alycia Cullen) of Wirral, N. B., Thomas Stewart Patten of Kingston, N. B. and Daniel Robert Patten (Megan Osinga) of Saint John; his grandchildren, Callie and Lachlan McFarlane of Wirral, N. B.; and his brothers, James McFarlane (Leona) of Day's Corner, Erik and Kenneth McFarlane of Elmsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to covid-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, by the province of N. B., all those 12 and older attending visitation or the memorial service will be required to show proof of vaccination and a piece of gov't issued ID, or show medical exemption.
In lieu of flowers and donations, Bill would ask that each person do a random act of kindness.
