With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Earl Welton in Wirral, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Welton (Gallant); his daughter Sherry Welton; his parents, Allen Welton and Gladys Welton (Butler); and his brothers, Thomas, Donald and George.

He is survived by: his children, Gail VanWart (Dennis), Larry Welton (Karen), Eugene Welton (Wendy), Karen Smith (Alden) and Rickey Welton (Susan); his sister Shirley Russell (Francine Harnish); his grandchildren, Derek, Vanessa, Taylor, Jeremy, Holly, Pattie, Andrew, Cass and Kaylee; and his pet Clint. He is also survived by spouses, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Alberts passing. I have know Albert since I started driving a School Bus back in the early 80’s. He was one of a kind for sure and had a huge impact on my career as a bus driver. I have not see. him in years since he retired but I have thought of him often. We used to tease him and tell him he lived in Hooterville he always got a great kick out of that. He will never be forgotten and I will Always have such fond memories of our work time over the years..”
