He is survived by: his spouse Elexena Ames (Ena); his children, Elizabeth Turgeon (James) of Fredericton and Harry Ames (Elizabeth) of Edmonton; his grandchildren, Tanya Ames (Greg Ritz) of Edmonton, Chris Ames (Gillian Gregory) of Australia, Matthew Ames (Madeleine) of Ottawa, Joseph Turgeon of Fredericton, Jeremy Turgeon (Stephanie McAnany) of Fredericton and Rebecca Dubay (Matthew Dubay) of Fredericton; his great grandchildren, Victoria, Julia Ritz, Samuel Ames, Liam, Lucas Turgeon, Landon, Henley, Parker Dubay and Ethan Turgeon; his brother Ronald Ames; and his sister-in-law Vesta Price.
Due to Covid-19, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations may be made to the Cemetery Fund of the Mactaquac Baptist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
