He was predeceased by: his parent Norman Matchett; and his siblings, Vincent, Clayton, Allie, Reggie and Rosalie Duguay.
He is survived by: his parent Mary Matchett (Keating); his wife Jean Matchett (McDonald) of Williamstown; his daughters, Zabrina Matchett (Dan Sobie) of Chilliwack, BC and Tanya Matchett of Fredericton, NB; his siblings, Brenda Matchett of Dieppe, NB, Norma Matchett of Dieppe, NB, Celine Blacquiere of Dieppe, NB and Bob Matchett of Lower Derby; and his granddaughter Sanora. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation Comments Arthur "Art" Russell Matchett, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 84.
