He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloudie Smith and Irene Smith (Powers); his nephew William Smith; and his great-nephew Shane Sharpe. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Orser (Alton), Mildred Orser (Ronnie), June Haines (Dale), Laura Davis (Brian), Cecil Smith (Shirley) and William Smith (Jan); and his aunts, Jeanne Powers and Cecile Powers.
