He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Walsh (Richard); his parents, Elmer Walsh and Bertha Walsh (Waye); his sister Phyllis; and his sons, Paul and Elmer.

He is survived by: his children, Rhoda Keating (Jack) of Whitney, NB, Brenda Walsh Matchett (Gisele) of Chatham, NB, Bertha Taylor (Johnny) of Sillikers, NB, Lornie (Cathy) of Trout Brook, NB, Clayton of Whitney, NB and Arthur (Chad) of Halifax, NS. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As expressions of sympathy, in Weldon's memory, donations may be made to Regional Diabetes Program – Miramichi, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
