He was predeceased by: his parents, Leverett Wade and Maude Wade; and his siblings, Donald, Fred, Billy, Ivan, Hazel and Zora.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Donalda Wade (Donna) of Whitney, NB; his children, Brenda Greene (David) of Saint John, NB, Gerald Wade (Ebony) of Woodstock, NB, Troy Wade of Whitney and Malcolm Crawford (Cara) of Petiticodiac, NB; his grandchildren, Tara (Rick), Matthew (Dee), Malakai and Hendrix; and his great grandchildren, Davis, Destin and Mitchell.

In Gerald's memory, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
