She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald MacDonald and Pearl MacDonald (Kelly); her husband Warren Sturgeon; her children, Blaine Sturgeon, Frank Sturgeon, Patricia Gillespie and Warren Elridge; her grandchildren, Falon Sturgeon, Glen Sturgeon and Allan Keith Sturgeon; and her siblings, Betty Bell, Aldine Urquhart, Eldon (Lois) and Jack (Lynn).

She is survived by: her children, Lois (Alvin Stewart) of Blackville and Ronald (Margaret) of Blackville; her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Sturgeon of White Rapids and Joanne Sturgeon of White Rapids; her siblings, Marina Storey of Barnettville, Novaline Underhill (Gordon) of Barnettville, Norman (Irene) of Fredericton, Murchie (Mary) of Fredericton, Orlie (Gloria) of Fredericton, Lorne (Marilyn) of Fredericton and James (Maxine) of Gray Rapids; and her brother-in-law Frankie Bell. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
