He was predeceased by: his husband Therese Russell; his son Doug; his siblings, Stanley, Norman, Roland, Esther Daigle and Dorca Daigle; and his granddaughter Tracey Lynn Therese Russell.

He is survived by: his sons, Charlie (Kathleen), Wayne (Jean), Ricky (Lori) and Larry; and his siblings, Mable Caissie, Jane Gallant, Walter (Germaine), Allen (Carolyn), Roger, Alma McDade (Harold) and Florine Russell. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
