She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sears and Gwendolyn Sears (Gulliver); and her brother Randy. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Luz Cabral; her children, Jasmine, Finnian Cabral and Luna The Portuguese Water; her siblings, Brian Sears (Norma) of Wood Point, NB and Rhonda Dean (Tim) of Halifax, NS; her father-in-law Joao Freitas Cabral of Mississauga, ON; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Sterken (Jan) of Burlington, ON and Steven Cabral (Lorie) of Milton, ON. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
