He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Brown of Avondale and Josephine Brown (O'Donnell) of Johnsville; his wife Shirley; his sister Cathy Brown; and his son-in-law Colin Newcombe.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Brown (Kathy) and Kimberly Newcombe; his grandchildren, Shane Grey, Trenton Brown, Kiara Brown, Phoenix Ginson-Brown, Maddox Ginson-Brown, Addie Brown, Ryan Hathaway, Desiree Foster (Casey), Brandi Sarchfield (Nathan) and Brittany Sharpe (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Quinn Briar Brown, Kyra Campbell and Brody Campbell; his brother Robert Brown (Maxine); his nephew Matthew Brown; and his niece Erin Tompkins (Eric).

Donations can be made to the Waterville Cemetery in Frank's memory.
