She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Peterson and Alfreda Peterson; her husband Clarence Knowles; her brother Carl Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Janette Peterson, Dean Scott and John Beal.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Culberson (Peter) of Mount Pleasant, Stephen Knowles of Gardiner, Maine, Becky Betts (Kevin) of Doaktown, Beverly Trecartin (Brett) of Rockland, Timothy Knowles (Pamela) of South Paris and Cheryl Harper (Kirk) of St. Thomas, Ontario; her grandchildren, Heidi Bannister (Rob), Cindy Kent (Ben), Jason Knowles (Abby), Jonathan Knowles (Meredith), Kelsye Edwards (Brent), Drew Betts (Erica), Aaron Trecartin (Amanda), Naomi Craig (Jacob), Bradley Trecartin (Kayla), Talia Knowles, Justin Knowles, Kayla Dahl (Steven), Michael Harper, Andrew Harper and Derick Harper; her great grandchildren, Keira Bannister, Dreya Bannister, Merryn Kent, Reaghan Kent, Desmond Knowles, Etta Knowles, Brydon Knowles, Evelyn Edwards, Ainsley Edwards, Levi Betts, Caroline Betts, Oliver Trecartin, Ella Trecartin, Karlee Craig, Oakley Craig, Sawyer Trecartin and Grant Dahl; her siblings, Vernon Peterson (Phyllis), Thetis Scott, Lloyd Peterson, Naida Beal, Gary Peterson, Malcolm Peterson (Sharon), Mavis McCarty (Ranald) and Barbara Appleby (Jim); and her sister-in-law Donna Peterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Social distancing is required, and pleased be prepared to wear a mask if necessary. The funeral service will be private.
