He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Benoit and Elizabeth Comeau; and his siblings, Carmelle (late Gérard) and Lorenzo. He is survived by: his children, Melinda (René Haché) of Sussex, Deborah (Jim Evoy) of Courtice, Gerald (Karla) of South Carolina, USA, Marie and Therese of Collingwood, Ont.; his grandchildren, Alex, Dominique, Zachary, Tiana, Isabel, Nicolette, Sophia and Katheryn; the mother of his children Patricia Benoit (Daigle); his wife Jacqueline Boudreau; and his siblings, Claude (Doris), Gisèle (Eugène Thébault), Aldéo (Jeannine), Rufin (Ernestine), Hermel, Odilla (Roger Doiron), Claire and Léona. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
