Omer Watson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Watson of Tobique First Nation, New Brunswick, born in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Watson and Pauline Watson (Lagace); his close friend Barbara Sappier (Daniels); his son Edward Watson; his stepsons, Tim and Tony Sappier; and his nephews, Anson Watson and Johnny Mazerolle.

He is survived by: his children, Dawn Michaud (Michael) of Tilley, NB, Tracey Gordier of Kitchener, ON, Brian Watson of Alberta and Mike Watson of Edmonton, AB; his stepchildren, Joanne Sappier of Baileyville, ME and Thomas "Jerry" Sappier of Portland, ME; and his siblings, Pauline Beaulieu (George) of Grand Falls, NB, Alban Watson of Lake Edward, NB, Albert Watson (Lois) of Lake Edward, NB, Paul Watson (Millie) of Lake Edward, NB and Alfred Watson (Darla Lamb) of Arthurette, NB. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
