He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Blacklock and Thelma Blacklock (Trenholm); his former wife Christine Kenny; his wife June Bacon; his significant other Barbara Ann Sullivan; his son Michael; his brothers, Leonard and Kencil; and his grandchildren, Christine and Justin.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Gaby) of Edmonton, AB, Kencil (Lori-Anne), Amherst, Kevin (Jennifer), Hazen (Sandy) of Tidnish Head, NS, Karen Futter (Eike), Tanya Stright (Richard), Murray Corner, Ashley (Jennifer), Rockport, Stacey Dowe (Carl), Timothy (Alicia) and Keith of Woodside, NB; his stepsons, Joseph Blair and Truro; his sister Eileen Blair (Stuart) of Northport, NS; and his sister-in-law Edith Blacklock. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
