He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Stairs and Katherine Stairs (Grant); his siblings, Maritta Knowles, Lloyd and Winston; his grandson Gavin Palmer; and his brother-in-law Brian Knowles.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Palmer (Kevin) of Hainesville, NB, Katlyn Rose (Shawn) and Shawn Stairs (Melissa) of Durham Bridge, NB; his granddaughters, Shaye, Morgan, Maddison, Graylen, Gabby and Peyton; and his sisters, Linda Christie (Ed) of Temperance Vale, NB, Joan Bradley (Junior) of Temperance Vale, NB, Connie Billings (Adrian) and Gayla Killam (Lee) of Sussex, NB. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Ryan, the family has suggested the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
