With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Miriam Christie of Temperance Vale, New Brunswick, born in Central Waterville, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 95. She is survived by: her children, George Christie (Debbie) of Waterville, NB, Roger Christie (Jane) of Waterville, NB, Chicoyne Christie (Doreen) of Hampton, NB, Ronald Christie (Beth) of Southampton, NB, Matthew Christie (Debbie) of Waterville, NB, Andrew Christie (Chris) of Medicine Hat, AB, Brenda Hitchcock (Reg) of Hampton, NB, Christine Gamblin (Terry), Daniel Christie of Meductic, NB, Vesta McIntosh (Brent) of Clarkville, NB, Ada Sharpe (Roy) of Temperance Vale, NB, Marilyn Peterson of Lower Queensbury, NB, Joel Christie (Adele) of Nortondale, NB and Julie Pickard (Arlis) of Temperance Vale, NB; her siblings, Deloris Kaley of Temperance Vale, NB, Edith Lyons of Zealand, NB, Arden Thornton of Waterville, NB and Delmont Thornton of Burtts Corner, NB; her brother-in-law Fred Christie (Alta) of Waterville, NB; and her grandsons, Tyrel Christie, Garth Christie, Ronnie Christie, Matthew Christie Jr., Darrel Hitchcock, Bryce McIntosh, Austin Peterson and Levi Pickard. She is also survived by forty-six grandchildren; sixty-nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
