It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Jane Nason of Temperance Vale, New Brunswick, born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Lavigne (LeBreton); her brother-in-law Keith Dickinson; her nephew Cory Lavigne; and her great-nephew Clinton Matchett. She is survived by: her father Donald Lavigne (Lauza); her husband Robert Nason; her children, Jeff Nason, David Nason (Marsha) and Melissa Nason; her grandchildren, Riley and Hailey Nason; her siblings, Brian Lavigne (Theresa), Helen Dickinson, Lorne Lavigne (Kathy), Lorna Cronkhite (Stephen), Nancy Matchett (Larry), Kevin Lavigne (Karen), Ronnie Lavigne (Glenda) and Glen Lavigne (Kathleen); and her siblings-in-law, Maureen Myshrall (Wayne) and John Nason (Debbie). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Nackawic, NB (by invitation only due to Covid 19) on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 11 am with Celebrant Father Martin Arputhan officiating.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Brenda, the family has suggested the Louise Breau Memorial Medical Trust Fund or Sts. Simon and Jude Cemetery (make cheques payable to Saint John the Baptist Parish) or a charity of the donor's choice.
