She was predeceased by: her father Owen Bruce Hay. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Joan Hay (Flynn); her husband Stephen; her children, Stephanie, Kale (Shayna), Frank (Robyn), Jeffrey (Hannah) and Mother Joan; her sisters, Patricia MacFarlane (Edward) and Joanne Edgar (David); and her sisters-in-law, Joan Merrill, Susan Stravostrand and Ann Haines.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Even in "retirement" she found joy, meaning and new friendships in joining the COVID recovery effort and then teaching and mentoring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Stanley Just Friends Food Bank, Liver Canada or a charity of choice.
