He was predeceased by: his parents, Len and Helen; his wife Lorraine; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald MacDonald and Marven Hunter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra, Cathy and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Cameron, Tristan and Megan; and his siblings, Benson (Sharon), Jean (late Marven), Sharon (Wayne), Mary (Donald), Veralynn (Stacy) and Joyce (Glenn).

In his memory, donations to New Brunswick Heart and Stroke would be appreciated by the family.
