He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thorne and Lula Thorne (Lewis); and his siblings, Mildred Perry (Roy), Beulah, Ronald, Lloyd, Brian, Arnold, Donald and Robert Thorne.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Todd (Mary), Roger (Colleen), Mike (Jane) and Troy (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Corey (Molly), Samantha (Kaleb), Ava and Leslee; his pet Maggie; his siblings, Ruby McFarlane (Edward), Joan Ward (Wayne), Judy Pascoe (Ivan), Charles (Doris), David, William (Jeanette), Doug and Carl (Emily); and his sisters-in-law, Cathy, Anne and Sue Thorne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
