She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Simpson and Alice Simpson (Belyea); and her siblings, Bob Simpson, Richard Simpson and Fran Simpson.

She is survived by: her close friend Jack Greenlaw of Riverbank; her daughter Gale Hanson (Donnie) of Apohaqui; her siblings, James Simpson (Glenna) of New Line, Doug Simpson of Norton, Harold Simpson (Shirley) of Cambridge Narrows, Blair Simpson (Cindy) of Alberta, Helen O'Donnell (Medley) of Berwick and Cathy Curran (Kenny) of Head; her grandchildren, Brooklyn (Cory), Madison (Benji) and Kayden; her great grandchildren, Beckham and Emberly; and her stepmother Jean Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
