He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Boyd and Bertie Boyd (Henderson); and his siblings, Norman, Lloyd, Gail Keith and Yvonne Boyd.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gary Boyd (Jennie), Arnold Boyd (Dee), John Boyd (Karen), Michael Boyd, Mark Boyd (Jan) and Albert Boyd (Nina); his sister-in-law Joan Boyd; and his nieces, Debbie (Mark "Bullwinkle") and Angela.
