He is survived by: his wife Florence Hawthorne (Veysey); his children, Ivy Thomson (Arthur), Joe Hawthorne (Carolyn) and Cindy Hawthorne (Beck Hobneck); his grandchildren, Olivia Thomson, Sophia Thomson, Brandin Hawthorne and Carrie Hawthorne; his niece Kathy Hourihan (Mike); and his nephew Jimmy Hodgin (Lena).
