With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lizzie Steen (Sussex, New Brunswick), born in Hunters Home, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Steen; her parents, John Wood and Isabelle Wood (Perry); and her siblings, Earl, Beverley, Dorothy Beach-Daigle, Vera Jeffrey and Bernice Sleep.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Steen (Jacky), Nora Mitton, Betty Ann Steen, Bonnie Bougerolle (Darren), Peter Steen (Karen), Robert (Carol), Heidi Jardine (Kirk) and William (Mildred); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Anna, Melanie, Andrew, Matthew, Timothy, Alex, Ryan, Mackenzie, Amanda, Jeffery, Duane and Dallas; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Kyle, Keegan, Emma, Hannah, Hayden, Holden, Landon and Alexis; her siblings, Charles Wood (Marjorie), Jerry Wood (Judy) and Hilda Thorne (Ron); and her sister-in-law Eva Wood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, Lizzie's funeral service will be held privately.
