He was predeceased by: his parent Hansford Ryder; his spouse Pearl Ryder (Phillips); his siblings, Hansford, Olive McBeath, Eva Barton, Violet Ryder and May Ryder; his great grandchild Spencer Wood; and his son-in-law Floyd Wiggins.
He is survived by: his parent Sadie Ryder (McGarity); and his children, Isabell Clark (Lloyd) of Cumberland Bay, Eva Wood (Beverley), Hazel Wiggins of Coles Island, Robert Ryder (Betty) of Waterboro and Beverley Ryder (Yvette) of Mountain. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
