He was predeceased by: his mothers, Velma Thompson (Coates) and Wanda Thompson (Blakeney); his siblings, Clarence, Blair, Robert MacDonald, Jessie Ryan and Ruby Brooks; and his nephews, Doug Anderson, Emery MacDonald and Donald MacDonald.
He is survived by: his siblings, Colin Thompson (Kim) of Petitcodiac and Pearl Anderson of Riverview; and his nieces and nephews, McKenzie Brunette, Jamie White, Amanda Irving, Cheyenne Irving, Jean Alward, Don Crandall, Edward Anderson (Linda), Debbie Eastwick (Stephen), Chess Ryan (Dorothy), Diane Forward, Linda Payne (Donald) and Bill Macdonald (Lynn). He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews and extended family.
