It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Allen (Sussex, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Allen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Charles and Grace Myrtle Burrell (Greenizen); her husband John B. Allen; and her siblings, Gladys Maguire, Alice Murray, Margaret Johnson, Ethel Radford, Phyllis Framingham, Clara Burrell, Ruth Radford, Charles Burrell, Herbert Burrell, Shirley Burrell and Joyce Lenderbeck.
She is survived by: her son Douglas B Allen (Mary); her grandchildren, Mary Jayne McNary (Ross) of Saskatoon, SK, Donna Kennedy (Kevin) of Edmonton, AB, Gennyne Sharpe (Ron) of Sussex, NB and Hod Allen of Delta, BC.; her great grandchildren, Casey Dumeresq (Robbie), Jeffrey McNary (Ashleigh), Katie McNary (Jeremy Schneider), Jalise Benson (Matthew), Travis Sharpe (Hanna), Mark McNary, Mikelle Williston (Dennis) and Marcia Wilson (Izaak); and her great great grandchildren, Della, Hazel, Jemma, Esme, Evelyn, Braxzen and Laughlin.
She passed of natural causes at Ridgewood Veterans Wing, in St. John, NB, and, while adhering to Covid restrictions, was able to have her granddaughter and great granddaughter with her at the end of her life.
