She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Burns and Margaret Chestnut (Dyker); her husband Wendell; her daughter Wendy Lackie-Lucas; her brother Bob Burns; and her great grandchild Dreden.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Hayes (David) of Moncton, Shelia Copp (Tom) of Connecticut, Margaret MacDonald (Gerry) of Roachville, Ina Demmons (Sheldon) of Quispamsis, Melissa Reicker (James) of Sussex and Charles Lackie of Arizona; her son-in-law Rick Lucas; her siblings, Freddie Chestnut (Barb) of Mount Hebron, Noreen Kierstead of Saint John, Ruby Ayers (Chris) of Sussex Corner and Ina Armstrong (Norman) of Apohaqui; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Hayes (Lynette), Mike Hayes (Meaghan), Kris Hayes (Tansley), Amanda McGrath (Jamie), Lindsay McArthur, Marc McArthur (Lisa), Katie Payne (Ben), Jena Lackie (Rick), Amy Sears (Zoum), Justin Demmons, Jacob Demmons, Mitchell McLean-Lackie, Michelle McLean, Ryley Reicker (Tanner), Jayde Reicker and Tomas Reicker. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
