He was predeceased by: his son Murray; his siblings, Albert, Alice Patterson and Mildred Nagle; and his great grandchild Dreden McArthur.
He is survived by: his children, Gisele McKnight (Louis) of Lake George, NB, Burton McArthur (Wanda) of Apohaqui and Michael McArthur of Sussex; his brothers, Harry Carr of Hampton and Gordon (Florence) of Sussex; his grandchildren, Amanda McGrath (Jamie) of Riverview, Lindsay McArthur (Andrew) of Penobsquis, Marc McArthur (Kathlene) of Sussex Corner, Ashley McKnight of Vietnam, Jacqueline McKnight of Lake George, NB, Lorilee McArthur, Andrew LeBlanc (Sara) of Sussex and Erica Verschuren (Zach) of North Sydney, NS; and his great grandchildren, Amelia, Madalin, Abigail, Myelle and Gavin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
