He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Derrick Mercer, Scott Mercer (Laurie), Holly McKiel (Bill) and Joe Mercer (Nicole); his siblings, Wayne Mercer (Joyce), Ron Mercer (Deborah), Bard Mercer (Cheryl), Trent Mercer, Jennie MacDonald (Ralph), Paulette Mitton (Bob), Bonita Lackie (Eddie), Brenda Mercer and Pamela McDermott (John); his sister-in-law Shirley Mercer; his grandchildren, Felecia, Cheslie, Joseph, Derica, Mercedes, Cheyenne, Chris, Bella and Kiaer; and his great grandchildren, Joselen, Natalie, Logan, Shardelle, Justine, Alexander, Abbigail, Paige, Noah, Liam, Tyson, Zoie and Paisley.
